Information about our Afternoon Tea
Date: Thursday 1st June
Time: 2 pm to 4 pm
Location: Public Hall
Ticket Price: £7 per person
To include:
Endless refills of Tea or coffee
Selection of homemade cakes, pastries and sandwiches
Example of selection will be small/finger portions of: Victoria sponge, chocolate sponge, chocolate eclair, scone with jam and cream, jam tart, 4 different sandwich fingers.
Booking a table
Please call into the centre to book your table or call to book over the phone 01395 445275.
We have some smaller tables that will seat a maximum of 4, but the majority of tables seat up to 6 or 8 people.
If you are booking for 4 or less people, please state if you will be willing to share a table with others.
Your table will be allocated before the event by the team at the Budleigh Information Centre.
On the day
Your booking is for the whole afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm.
You can arrive anytime from 2 pm, when you'll be shown to your table.
Each table will have table service, be nicely laid out, and have at least one tiered cake stand, with additional serving plates as required.
Thank you to Peter Dolling, who has agreed to come along with his keyboard to play some pleasant background music.
The Afternoon Tea will end at 4 pm - this is to ensure the hall can be cleared away in time for the evening event being held in the Public Hall later.
Gluten Free
Gluten Free teas are available and must pre-booked.
Gluten Free cakes will be shop-bought to ensure requirements are met, and will NOT be homemade. We cannot guarantee GF cakes are free from other allergens.
Gluten Free teas will have a reduced selection of cakes and no sandwiches.
Warning about Allergens: We cannot guarantee that any of the homemade cakes and sandwiches will be free from allergens.
Sorry, but no dogs are allowed in the hall.
