The Environment Agency, Clinton Devon Estates and Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust teams will mark the end of the Lower Otter Restoration Project delivery phase on Thursday 14 March. We welcome all Friends of the Common to join us at the Holt (the new home of Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club) during the afternoon/early evening and celebrate the end of this successful project and the start of a new era for the Otter Estuary Reserve.
Arriving by car/bus: Limited parking is available at the Cricket Club, alternative parking is available nearby at the Otter Estuary car park on South Farm road. Bus number 157 stops outside the cricket club.

- Talk to the project staff, view displays, films, time-lapse and images showcasing the project.
- Be among the first to see the archaeological artefacts found as part of the ground surveys, before they go on loan to the Fairlynch Museum for the rest of the summer.
- See relevant plans and documents from Clinton Devon Estates archives about the history of the estuary, with expert guidance from the Estate Archivist, Charlotte Hodgson.
- View exhibitions of local wildlife photos from David White and artwork documenting the project, created by John Washington.
- Find out all about the Otter Estuary Nature Reserve, the new extension to the Pebblebed Heaths NNR.
- Talk to Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club, see around their wonderful new facilities which are available for hire and find out what events they have coming up.
