Budleigh Music Festival
Budleigh Music Festival is a week-long celebration of music, featuring internationally acclaimed performers and rising stars.
The 2024 Festival was a huge success offering something for everyone. It opened with a day-long choral workshop led by composer Bob Chilcott, and featured concerts by acclaimed mezzo-soprano Dame Sarah Connelly, internationally renowned pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, world-leading choir Tenebrae, the Sacconi and Salome Quartets, and ended with the BBC Big Band. The Festival also welcomed BBC Young Musician finalist Ethan Loch, an astonishing young pianist blind since birth, and staged a fascinating collaboration between Seckou Keita (virtuoso performer of the Senegalese Harp) and members of Bath Philharmonia.
Every lunch time there were opportunities to witness the stars of tomorrow - performances from young musicians including everything from a Wind Orchestra to guitars, clarinets, classical accordion and much more.
The 2025 Festival will be our 20th Anniversary and to mark the occasion we are planning an even more exciting prgramme - so watch this space!
The Festival will run from 27th June to 5th July 2025.
Tickets will go on sale around Easter at budleighmusicfestival.co.uk
