Osgoods - Plaque
SKU:
As stated on the plaque, the Osgood family owned land in Budleigh Salterton from 1422.
This building, located at 14-16 High Street, is probably the oldest surviving building in the street and is thought to be over 300 years old. It was originally thatched and much smaller than it is now, and built with timber, cob and lath. It was restored in 1999.
The downstairs is now two shops, and the upstairs is a two bedroom flat.
