​Georgie Porgies Puddings journey started back in 1989, from humble beginnings, George cleaned the factory floors of late Budleigh Pate.


Was trained in all aspects of this small cottage industry, giving him a strong foundation to launch his own company in 1994 at just 18, making traditional Round steamed Christmas Puddings.


By 1996, with the help of a Prince’s Youth Business Trust loan, he set up his own premises in Ottery St Mary.


Budleigh Pate building became derelict over the following years and George bought the site in 2019 he started as a boy in, demolished and rebuilt into a purpose built pudding factory.


You can visit for a barista coffee, hot pudding with ice-cream or custard, buy a selection of puddings to take home or send via mail order to loved ones direct from the kitchens.
