The Commemorative Boat on Budleigh beach has been operating since August 2014. It is managed by Budleigh in Bloom and is intended to commemorate happy occasions as well as sadder ones.
Enquires can be emailed to Bob Wiltshire at [email protected], who can offer help with your wording and will arrange for the inscription to be made on the plaque. People are welcome to be present when the plaque is screwed onto the boat.
The cost is £50, which will last for five years, afterwhich you can subscribe for a further five years. There is an additional one-off payment of £5 for the inscription and plaque.
All funds raised from the boat go towards Budleigh in Bloom, a group of local volunteers who work hard to keep the town's flower displays looking beautiful.
