What's it all about?
The Love Budleigh Membership is completely free to join and has been created to bring our community together.
The volunteer team at Love Budleigh work with local clubs, societies, community groups and businesses to offer activities and events for members to encourage people to get involved in local life, discover new interests, make new friends and help tackle loneliness by connecting them with everything Budleigh has to offer.
View our Love Budleigh website, monthly Budleigh Salterton newsletter and Love Budleigh social media to see what events are on offer and decide if you want to take part. To attend an event make sure you have signed up, then contact the organiser to book your space. It's a great way to get involved, meet other members, make new friends and enjoy something new!

How to become a Member
Members can join by clicking the Sign Up button and completing the requested information. On receipt of your registration we'll process your Membership and provide you with a Membership card. We'll email you when it is ready for collection from Budleigh Information Centre in Fore Street, Budleigh Salterton. Your membership card can be used when booking an event or activity with the organiser.
You will also be subscribed to our monthly Budleigh Salterton newsletter so you can stay updated with events and activites being offered to the Love Budleigh Membership.

Available Events
Click on the button to view the current events available to the Membership. Please note that events will normally be available for a restricted number of people so please ensure you contact the organiser to book your place.
How to put on an event
The scheme helps to showcase and promote Budleigh Salterton as a vibrant and welcoming place to live and enjoy, by highlighting the wide range of activities, organisations, businesses and experiences available within the town.

Love Budleigh Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Love Budleigh Membership Scheme. By joining or holding an event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Membership
Participation in any event or activity is at your own risk. Love Budleigh is not responsible for the organisation, operation, cancellation, safety or quality of events promoted through the Membership Scheme.
7. Event Organisers
Love Budleigh may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued Membership following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

10. Acceptance
By clicking "Join" or registering as a member or organiser, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Membership
- Love Budleigh Membership is managed by the Love Budleigh Team at Budleigh Information Centre, 14 Fore Street, Budleigh Salterton EX9 6NG.
- Membership is free to join and there are no ongoing subscription fees.
- Members must be aged 18 or over.
- You may leave the Membership at any time.
- By joining, you agree to receive the Budleigh Salterton monthly newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each newsletter.
- Love Budleigh's role is limited to promoting approved events and activities to members through channels such as the monthly newsletter, social media and promotional materials.
- Approval or promotion of an event does not constitute endorsement, supervision or responsibility for the event by Love Budleigh.
- Some events and activities may be chargeable.
- All bookings, payments, refunds and event enquiries are managed by the event organiser.
- Love Budleigh accepts no responsibility for financial transactions between members and event organisers.
- Where tickets are sold through Budleigh Information Centre, it is a separate arrangement between Budleigh Information Centre and the event organiser, and it not part of the Love Budleigh Membership Scheme. The event organiser remains responsible for the event bookings, payments, and management of the event or activity.
- We are committed to maintaining a friendly, welcoming and inclusive community.
- Abusive, discriminatory, threatening, disruptive or otherwise unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Love Budleigh reserves the right to suspend or terminate Membership where these Terms and Conditions are breached.
- Event organisers may refuse entry to or remove any participant where necessary for the safety, welfare or enjoyment of others and should notify Love Budleigh if this occurs.
- We take your privacy seriously and comply with UK GDPR requirements.
- The information you provide will be used only to administer the Membership and distribute the Budleigh Salterton newsletter.
- The newsletter is produced in partnership with Visit Budleigh Salterton, part of Visit Devon. Details of Visit Devon's Privacy Policy are available on request and online via their Newsletter SIgn Up page.
- Love Budleigh will not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties without your consent unless required by law.

7. Event Organisers
- All events and activities promoted through the Love Budleigh Membership must be approved by Love Budleigh.
- Event organisers are solely responsible for ensuring their events and activities are safe, legal and appropriately managed.
- Organisers must comply with the Membership’s Member Code of Conduct.
- Events promoted to the Love Budleigh Membership do not need to be exclusive to members; however, organisers are required to provide a benefit to members, such as a discount, priority booking, exclusive offer or other added value.
- As a general policy, Love Budleigh does not charge commission or fees for promoting events and activities through the Membership Scheme. However, Love Budleigh reserves the right to apply a fee or commission in certain circumstances. Any such charge will be clearly communicated to the event organiser and agreed in advance before the event or activity is approved for promotion through the Membership Scheme.
- Free promotion is limited to promoting your approved event to the Membership. Promotion does not include general advertising of your business, group or services. If looking to advertise your business, group or services, please refer to our Budleigh Salterton Membership and the packages available.
- To encourage the Love Budleigh Membership to get together and make connections, the number of similar events offered by an organiser may be restricted. Love Budleigh may request that Special Offers are limited to specific times and run for a limited period.
- Love Budleigh reserves the right to remove or withdraw the promotion of any Love Budleigh Membership event or special offer at its discretion and at any time. All decisions made by Love Budleigh are final.
Love Budleigh may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued Membership following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
